South Granville

South Granville is a vibrant community that sits on the west side of Vancouver, between Shaughnessy and the Fairview Slopes. Established in 1907 in the height of Vancouver’s carriage trade days, South Granville has long been a commercial centre, and today the area’s feature fashion designer shops, fine restaurants, concerts venues and modern art galleries.

The redevelopment of the industrial lands surrounding False Creek located just south of the downtown peninsula has proves a fantastic ground for a host of variations in master planned urban design executed across substantial geographic areas.

The earlier parceling of residential projects on South West False Creek, adjacent to Granville Island, declares its own distinctive sense of how a new and thriving city houses itself. There has been through the course of this redevelopment a sustained project to provide continuous public access to the waterfront.
